This week, we decided to share some tips for staying productive while working from home, as we are sure that we all need extra motivation from time to time. It is our new normal reality, and while we are still getting adjusted to all the changes in our lives, we still have to deliver our projects, lead teams, work and balance our personal lives at home. So below, you can find some of the tips that helped us during last couple of months to stay as productive as possible in new reality of home office:
⠀
Create a fixed schedule:

The first thing we need to do is to create a fixed schedule. With your laptop at home at all times it is easy to forget when you start or end your shift. Creating a fixed schedule and following it will not only reduce the stress, but also help you be more organized and motivated during the working hours!⠀
Working out is important!

While working from home and dealing with a huge workload it is easy to forget to move and stay inactive for hours. However, we should prioritise healthy activity and schedule a workout into our calendars. You can go for a walk after the lunch or you can just do some basic exercise set between the meetings but don’t forget to move.
Take care of your mental health:

Make sure you take your time to adapt to the new situation. Not only we are working from home, but we are also isolating from other people in other aspects of our lives so make sure to avoid burnouts and excessive workload. ⠀
With the extra time you have during the day, you might want to read a book, or decorate your home office, start a new hobby, project or just rest, but you should be able to vent out during the day without feeling guilty. That way you can be sure that the next day you will be 100% ready for a new working day! 🙂
Start a new project
Whether it is a new book, or a new course, or a new DIY project, you finally have enough time to do all the things that were waiting for you on your To-Do list for ages. Home office has many perks and you should be find many more benefits depending on what you like to do.
For the time being, it seems that our new normal reality will stay like this, so while we balance work life and private life we should be able to both increase the productivity at work and enjoy the life. 🙂
